Understanding the Times and Knowing What to Do

The world is changing. Truth is increasingly challenged. Deception has become sophisticated.

Many believers are asking, "How are we to live in times like these?" "What is God's will for my life?" "I am only one person. What can I do?"

The Eleventh Hour War Room exists to help answer those questions and more. Join us in this great adventure as we follow Him with our all.

The Eleventh Hour Handbook

A Practical Guide to Faithful Kingdom Living

What began as an effort to help believers understand the times and faithfully occupy until Christ returns has grown into something more—a practical handbook for Kingdom living.

The Handbook brings together biblical foundations, practical wisdom, personal testimony, questions for reflection, and steps believers can take individually and together.

This is not merely information to be studied. It is truth to be lived, shared, and passed to the next generation.

The Eleventh Hour Handbook — A Practical Guide to Faithful Kingdom Living

What Are the Kingdom Spheres?

The Kingdom Spheres are the areas of life and society where God has placed His people to serve, exercise faithful influence, and represent Jesus Christ. They include the Family, Ecclesia, Education, Marketplace, Government, Environment, and Space. Although each sphere has a distinct purpose, they continually overlap and influence one another.

The Kingdom of God does not advance through His people controlling society. It advances as men and women faithfully represent Christ within it. Jesus described His followers as salt and light—preserving what is good, illuminating what is true, and pointing others toward the King. The goal has never been to dominate culture, but neither has it been to abandon it.

The Kingdom of God is the rule and reign of Jesus Christ. His Kingdom is made visible on earth as His Ecclesia faithfully exercises every gift, resource, responsibility, and opportunity He has entrusted to His people.

Over the years, various expressions of Kingdom theology have emphasized Christians exercising authority over the institutions of society. While there is much to appreciate in the desire to see Christ honored in every area of life, Scripture reminds us that "the earth is the Lord's, and everything in it" (Psalm 24:1). We own nothing in the ultimate sense; we are stewards of everything God has entrusted to us.

Every sphere already belongs to Christ. The question is not whether He is Lord over it, but whether His people are faithfully representing Him within it:

"For by Him all things were created…all things were created through Him and for Him." — Colossians 1:16

The Kingdom Spheres are not about extending Christ's ownership. They are about extending our faithful representation of the One who already owns it all.

Before there were nations, civil governments, economies, or human institutions, God entrusted mankind with stewardship. Adam was placed in the garden "to cultivate it and keep it" (Genesis 2:15). Humanity was created to reflect God's character, cultivate what He had created, and exercise responsible stewardship under His authority. Although sin corrupted that calling, it did not remove it.

As ambassadors of the King, we are not called to possess the spheres of society, but to represent Christ faithfully within them. Whether in our families, congregations, businesses, schools, communities, governments, or any other sphere of human activity, we bring His truth, character, wisdom, and presence wherever He has placed us.

The Kingdom Spheres are therefore the places where Christ's Ecclesia lives out the Great Commission—making disciples, serving others, stewarding creation, and demonstrating what life under the rule and reign of Jesus Christ looks like.

The Kingdom is not advanced through coercion or political domination, but through transformed people who faithfully represent the truth, character, wisdom, and authority of the King wherever He has placed them.

The Kingdom of God is not merely a place we hope to enter someday. It is the present rule and reign of Christ, made visible wherever people submit to His authority and faithfully represent Him in the world. When the Ecclesia comprehends its Kingdom identity and embraces its commission, the powers of darkness are confronted by the truth, love, unity, and faithful witness of God's people.

When Jesus taught His disciples to pray, "Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven," He taught them to desire that God's rule become increasingly evident in the world around them. Every act of obedience, every truth faithfully spoken, every need lovingly served, every life transformed by the gospel, and every sphere influenced by the wisdom of Christ becomes a visible expression of His Kingdom.

We do not enter these spheres to build our own kingdoms or control other people. We enter them as servants, stewards, and ambassadors of the King.

Explore the Kingdom Spheres

Family

God's First Sphere of Stewardship

The family is God's first sphere of stewardship and the foundation for faith, character, responsibility, and discipleship. This sphere examines the pressures confronting families today and explores how the ecclesia can strengthen marriages, disciple children, recover surrendered responsibilities, and prepare families to faithfully serve Christ in the days ahead.

Ecclesia

God's People on Mission

The Ecclesia was never intended to be merely a place we attend, but a people called, equipped, and sent to represent Christ and advance His Kingdom. This sphere examines our identity, areas where we may have surrendered our mission, and how God's people can recover their responsibility to equip the saints, serve one another, and make disciples of nations.

Education

Discipling the Next Generation

Education does far more than communicate information—it helps shape worldview, identity, values, and understanding of truth. This sphere examines who is influencing and discipling the next generation and explores how parents and the ecclesia can recover responsibility, engage educators, serve schools, and help prepare young people to think biblically and live faithfully.

Marketplace

Kingdom Stewardship Through Work

The marketplace touches nearly every part of society through business, employment, finance, innovation, production, and the stewardship of resources. This sphere explores how believers can view their work, influence, skills, businesses, and resources as Kingdom assignments through which they can serve others, model righteousness, create solutions, and advance the purposes of God.

Government

Authority, Responsibility, and Kingdom Engagement

Government has legitimate authority and responsibilities, but it is neither our savior nor our ultimate authority. This sphere examines God's purposes and boundaries for civil government, the responsibilities the Ecclesia may have surrendered, and how believers can pray, serve, influence, appeal, challenge, refuse when necessary, prepare wisely, and remain faithful to the King's mission.

More Spheres to Come

The Handbook Is Still Growing

The Kingdom mandate extends to every part of creation. Future spheres will explore Environment and Space, with additional areas considered as the Handbook continues to grow—each examined through the lens of biblical stewardship and faithful Kingdom engagement.
